What to expect
Community Baptist Church is a small family of believers with a big heart! We are traditional in our Independent Baptist roots, but remain relevant to and connected with our community.
Atmosphere
Don't be surprised if happy people extend a hand in greeting! We really are about community both inside and out of the church, so we want everyone to feel welcome.
This is Yooper country, so expect to meet some! You will see people dressed casually, others in their Sunday go-to-meetin' clothes, and everything in between, so you are sure to fit right in.
We sing a blend of traditional hymns, Scripture songs and worship choruses with beautiful piano accompaniment. Our children's choir and special music selections prepare the heart for Biblical, Spirit-led preaching.
Members are given an opportunity in each service to contribute financially in an offering, but visitors are not expected to do so. Online giving is also available for convenience.
Children & Teens
Sunday school classes and an exciting children's church program are tailored to create a compelling environment for your kids to enjoy each Sunday morning! A nursery is available for mothers and their infants if occasion arises to retreat from the service.
Teens are welcome in adult Sunday school and in the main service. On Sunday nights after the evening service, a teen blast is held full of fun, food, games and comradery!
